Finally a new post

I got a sewing machine and have been fun experimenting with it. My good friend Brinn has been very patient and has been helping April and I learn to use our sewing machines. It has been more fun than I expected it to be. April and I decided to make little tag blankets. Mine did not turn out perfect but I guess that is how you learn. Trial and error.
Brinn, Me, and April. Our husbands are downstairs playing X Box. What is with guys and X Boxes?
Our baby girl is already 4 months old. I am wondering how she grew up so fast. She is getting very sassy and more adorable everyday! I know her bow is huge, but a girl needs to accessorize!

We also had a horrible ice storm last week. We lost power for about two days and had no heat. Kyle's school was canceled for 4 days, so it did have its benefits (for me at least). There was about 200,000 without power in Kentucky. It was crazy!

Kasen playing in Snow. This is the first time we have had snow that has stayed on the ground since we have lived here.
Kasen loves his little sister but sometimes his excitement frightens Addie. You gotta love big brothers!

Cute pictures, I love the huge bow, adorable! Way to go on the sewing! My sister in law made me a little tag blanket, but she stuck in little teething rings, beads ect on the ribbon so it's a great teething toy for Reese!
So do you love your white cabinets? I'll have to scroll through some of your old posts to see some pictures! Do you have any tips for me? I'm excited and hope they will turn out good!
Hope you're staying warm with all that crazy ice and no heat!

I am SO glad you updated! I have been thinking about you guys every time I heard about Kentucky on the news. I am glad you only lost power for 2 days but I bet those were two long cold days! Hopefully the weather will let up a little bit and no more ice storms. I'm impressed with your sewing skills! Me and sewing don't get along too well. Ha ha! Love the massive bow on Addie. Too cute. ;)

Sometimes I wish I would take the time to learn how to sew, and other times I just say ah whatever! I'm glad you're doing it! Very cute pics of those cute kiddies! And that really sucks that you didn't have power for two days! But at least you got a hubby for 4!! Yay!
